Privacy policy.

1. Information on your device

The app stores your selected currencies, last entered amount and input side, saved currency shortcuts, reference amounts and their order, appearance preference, and downloaded exchange rates with their dates and fetch times. Locale information helps restore numeric input when the device’s decimal separator changes.

Settings and rates use iOS local storage. An App Group lets Pocket Currency and its own widget extension share the data they need. This is not an account or a FlowQA cloud database. Conversion calculations happen on the device.

iOS controls device backups and app-data removal. Depending on your Apple settings, backups may include app data. Pocket Currency does not implement its own cloud-sync service.

2. Exchange-rate requests

The app and its widgets request rates directly from Frankfurter over HTTPS at api.frankfurter.dev. Each single-pair request identifies the two currency codes, such as GBP and KRW.

Your entered amounts, saved reference lists, name and email address are not included in these rate requests. No account identifier or analytics identifier is added by the app.

As with any internet request, the service and its network providers process connection information needed to respond, including an IP address. Frankfurter’s published FAQ states that its public API does not retain personal data, IP addresses or request URLs, and that it uses Cloudflare for caching and protection. That statement describes the provider’s practice; the provider controls its infrastructure.

3. Analytics, advertising and accounts

The current app has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK or advertising-tracking integration. It does not send conversion history, entered amounts or reference lists to FlowQA for analytics.

Apple may separately process App Store, device or diagnostic information under your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. This is distinct from an analytics feature in Pocket Currency.

4. This website

This website serves product information, support and this policy. It does not run a currency-conversion service, collect form submissions, or add analytics tags, advertising pixels, remotely hosted fonts or embedded tracking tools. The site does not set cookies or use browser storage for tracking. Next.js supplies scripts for page navigation and rendering, and the fonts are served from this website. These do not add an analytics feature.

The planned static host is Render. A hosting provider processes technical requests to deliver and protect the site; these can include IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and timestamps. Its processing and retention are governed by its service configuration and policies.

5. If you contact support

If you email support@flowqa.com, your email address and anything you include are processed to respond to your request. Your email service and ours handle message delivery. Please avoid sending payment details or other sensitive information.

Contact us about the handling, retention or deletion of support correspondence. We do not receive the app’s locally stored amounts or reference lists unless you choose to include them in a message or screenshot.

6. Managing your information

You can edit reference amounts and remove inactive saved currency shortcuts in the app. App storage and any device backups are managed through iOS and your Apple settings. We cannot remotely access or erase the conversion amounts saved on your device.

For personal information you have provided directly to us, such as a support email, contact us with a privacy or deletion request. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning that information and the right to raise a concern with a relevant data-protection authority.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when Pocket Currency’s data handling or the services used for this website change. The date above identifies the policy version.
